Gerald D. Law, 86, passed away Thursday September 4, 2008.

A graveside service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park in Gallatin.

Mr. Law was born in Macon County, September 20, 1921, the son of Gertrude and Roy Law.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eloise (Porter) Law of Gallatin; one sister, Sammy (Travis) Lawrence of Madison; granddaughters Candy (Jeff) Arwood and Courtney (Andy) Spears, both of Hendersonville; three great-granddaughters; and former son-in-law Joe L. Blankenship of Gallatin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Roy Law of Madison, his sister, Merle, and daughters Pam Blankenship and Penny Taylor.

Mr. Law worked in the furniture business including careers at Crescent furniture of Nashville, Davis Cabinet Company, and D.T. McCall's of Carthage.
