Funeral services for George Edward Hodges, Jr., age 49, of Gallatin, TN, were held Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Birdsong officiating. Interment was in Rippy Cemetery.

Mr. Hodges passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008.

He was the son of the late George Edward Hodges, Sr. and Alice Marie Cunningham Hodges. He was united in marriage to Lisa Mai Midgett Hodges of Gallatin. Mr. Hodges was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors besides his wife include sons, Caleb Shane Hodges of Gallatin, Anthony Jacob Hodges of Nashville, Michael Caine Hodges of Gallatin, and Joseph Hodges of Gallatin; brother, Joseph Hodges of Gallatin; and 4 grandchildren.
