Jesse McReynolds has been a member of the WSM Grand Ole Opry since 1964 and has recorded more than 50 albums and CDs. He started his career with his brother, as part of the duo known as Jim and Jesse. The duo had a very distinctive style, and were the recipients of many honors in the recording industry. Among the honors, the McReynolds earned the National Endowment for the Arts prestigious National Heritage Fellowship Award for their contribution to American music.
