Our league is going into its 13th season this year and we will have our sign-ups on Saturday June 7 and Saturday June 14 from 12-5 each day. This will also be at the Tony Woosley Memorial Field House on Meador Drive. Please don't confuse this with Lafayette Elementary. We will be in the building in the parking lot of Lafayette Elementary beside the football field and not in the school itself. Any child that is interested in playing football or cheering this year needs to try and make arrangements to attend one of these sign-ups.
Listed below is some of the upcoming events going on in our league this year:
In the month of July, many of our players and coaches will be involved in the 10th annual MCHS Tiger Football Camp. Then on Saturday August 16, the MCHS Tigers will be hosting the 1st annual jamboree as they will be participating in a freshman and varsity game against Springfield. All of our peewee football teams and cheerleading squads have also been invited to play and cheer in this jamboree. Our league is excited about this opportunity to show our community a preview of our teams while also helping to support our MCHS Tigers. Our season will be beginning the 1st or 2nd week of September and will run through the end of October with all of our games scheduled to be played at HOME on Saturdays at Pat Parker Memorial field. Then at the end of the season, we will participate in the 11th annual Lion's Bowl as we continue to help our local Lion's Club to raise money to purchase eyeglasses and hearing aids for citizen's in our community that need help.
