Hi, my name is Robert Hodges; I would like to announce that I am running for City Council in Lafayette. I have lived in Lafayette for over forty years. I have served the city and county most of those years in various capacities. Just a few have been by having active roles in the Civil Defense, Rescue Squad, Ambulance Service, and the Lafayette Fire Department. I know from my personal experience that this is a good community to get married and raise a family in. I would like the opportunity to make it an even better one. I have talked to many citizens over the last several weeks, however, if I haven't gotten to speak with you personally, I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your vote. Regardless if you vote early or on Election Day (May 29), I would appreciate your support and your vote.
