Funeral services for Mary Franklin Bartley, age 83, of Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Oran Collins, Brother Fred Smith and Brother Neel Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, TN. Her pallbearers were Ronnie Steen, Donnie L. Steen, Todd McDonald, Bruce Bartley, Charlie Bartley and Mark Bartley.

Mary Bartley passed away Thursday morning, March 13, 2008 at the Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN.

She was born December 12, 1924 in Macon County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Sam and Flora King Franklin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Leona Law. On September 21, 1963, she married Joe Bartley, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.

Survivors besides her husband Joe of 44 years include: daughter & son-in-law; Barbara & Ronnie Steen, Lafayette, TN, daughters, Marsha Johnson, Lafayette, TN, Frances Newberry, Red Boiling Springs, TN, son & daughter-in-law; Ray D. & Linda Bandy, Lafayette, TN, son, Tony Bandy, Lafayette, TN, sister, Zonia Blankenship, Russellville, KY, 10 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 5 great-grandchildren,2 step-great-grandchildren.
