* FEMA HAZARD MITIGATION TEAM AT B.D. POLSTONS MARCH 3 TO MARCH 8

A FEMA Hazard mitigation team will be at BD Polstons at 905 RBS Rd.in Lafayette from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm the week of March 3 through March 8.

A team of two people will provide information on how to reduce future tornado damage. Information will be available on suggested specs for how to build safe rooms, information on tornadoes, coping skills, and storm preparedness. There will be coloring books for children and something there to help everyone.

* MORRISTOWN AM VETS WILL ESCORT TRAILER OF SUPPLIES SATURDAY MARCH 01 AT 1:00 PM TO LAFAYETTE.

A Veterans group from Morristown, Tennessee will escort a 53' trailer load of supplies to support tornado victims in Lafayette and will be bringing the needed items to the old Dollar General Store. Weather permitting motorcycles will be part of the escort of veteran riders.
