Stanley Eugene Francis, of the Brattontown Community, died at the age of 54 on Tuesday evening, February 5, 2008, from injuries sustained from the tornado that swept through Macon County.
Funeral services for Stanley Eugene Francis were conducted from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with Elder Floyd Ferguson and Elder Ricky White officiating. Kevin Barrett, Parker Francis, Glen Wheat, Scott Harp, Blake Francis, Jim Carr, and Cage Carr served as Pallbearers. Burial followed in the Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
Born Stanley Eugene Francis in Pulaski, Tennessee, on May 12, 1953, one of four children to Frances Louis Rose Francis, who survives and resides in Westmoreland and the late Earl Eugene Francis. In March 6, 1998 he married the former Marilyn Hughes, who survives. Besides his father, brothers, Danny and Steven Francis preceded him in death. He worked making repairs on mobile homes and was a member of the Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by daughters, Hope (Kevin) Barrett, Lafayette, TN, Mary Mitchell, Lebanon, TN, step-children, Jim (Wanda) Carr, Lafayette, TN, Pam (Glen) Wheat, Scottsville, KY, brother, Vance Francis, Lafayette, TN; grandchildren, Katie Michelle Mitchell, Chase McKenzie Mitchell, Shelby Lynn Barrett, Mercedes Chuyenne Barrett, step- grandchildren, Garrett Wheat, Carly Wheat, Maddisen Currier, Cage Carr.
