Memorial services for Vernon Leroy Chalich, age 54, of the Coleytown Community in Macon County, TN were conducted Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Glenn Pritchett officiating.

Vernon Chalich passed away Monday morning, January 28, 2008 at his brother's residence.

He was born November 5, 1953 in New Orleans, LA, the son of Peter Chalich of Elk River, MN, and Mary Murphy Chalich of Largo, FL. He was preceded in death by a son, Adam Peter Chalich and step-daughter, Tammy Chalich. He was a construction worker and a Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam.

Survivors besides his parents include: son & daughter-in-law; Luke William and Dakota T. Chalich, Anoka, MN; brother & sister-in-law; Terry & Sherrie Chalich, Coleytown Community in Macon County, TN; sisters & brother-in-law; Cheri & Joe Cook, Elk River, MN, Kristi Chalich, Brooklyn Center, MN, maternal grandmother, Neva Fish Wheeler, Largo, FL.
