James A. “Jim” Caldwell, 82, of Westmoreland, TN, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Sumner County, TN native was a former timber buyer and owner/operator of C&O Headings. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Albert Caldwell.

He is survived by his wife, LeVoice Burton Caldwell of Westmoreland, TN; a son, Dennis Burton and wife Beverly of Scottsville, KY; a daughter, Kay Stamps and husband Randy of Scottsville, KY; grandchildren, Todd Stamps and wife Chelly and John Paul Burton, all of Scottsville, KY; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Taylor, Abigail, and Alex Stamps, all of Scottsville, KY; a niece and two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Caldwell and a sister, Jean Caldwell.

Funeral services for James A. “Jim” Caldwell were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
