Charles S. Ragland, age 73, a native of Macon County, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Savannah Cottage of Oviedo, FL.  Graveside services for Charles S. Ragland were conducted on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Cemetery in Macon County.   

Charles Ragland was born on June 24, 1934, to the late Cecil Smith and Fleeta Krantz Ragland. He was a Technical Sergeant for the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oviedo, FL.    

He is survived by; son, Todd E. Ragland, Gainesville, FL, daughter, Kendra L. Haywood, Oviedo, FL, brother, Jerry Ragland, Murfreesboro, TN, sisters, Ana Mae Haddock, Lafayette, TN, Gloria Duran, Hendersonville, TN, Irene Leach, Waterloo, IA, Lee Wheeler, Hendersonville, TN, and five grandchildren.
