Macon Helps to take applications for Christmas toys and food baskets
Applications will be accepted starting Nov. 13th through Dec. 7th. Bells and Ribbons Holiday Pageant
Dec. 8, 2007, at Trousdale County High School Auditorium. Registration begins at 12 P.M., and the pageant begins at 2 P.M. Female age groups from Birth-21 years and male age groups from Birth-4 years. $25 entry fee before November 30th or $30 entry fee at the door. Queen receives a trophy and a crown. 1st runner up, 2nd runner up, and 5 optionals receive a trophy; everyone receives a ribbon. Sponsored by Trousdale County Cheerleaders. $3 door admission. Toy Drive to benefit Macon Helps Nov. 26
A toy drive to benefit Macon Helps will be held at the November 26 Macon County Junior High School basketball game with Red Boiling Springs. All who bring a new toy will be eligible to win $100 cash to be given away at half time of the boys' game. City of Lafayette closed Nov. 22 & 23
The City of Lafayette will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday and Friday garbage pickup will be done on Monday the 26th. Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th garbage route will be run on Tuesday. Please set your garbage out the night before for very early pickups on Monday and Tuesday.
