JAMES DYLAN BLANKENSHIP

James Dylan Blankenship, age 14, of the Wixtown Community of Macon County passed away on Monday, October 29th, 2007 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.  

Funeral services for Dylan Blankenship were conducted on Thursday, November 1st, 2007 at 1 p.m. from the Millers Chapel Church with Reverend Kimble Willoughby officiating.  David Anderson, Chris Bowling, Riley Wilson, Cody Adams, Eric and Jeremy Keen served as Pallbearers. Interment was in the Millers Chapel Cemetery. 

Dylan Blankenship was born on July 20th, 1993, to Michael Wilson and the former Janet Christine Blankenship Wilson. He was preceded in death by, grandfather, Thomas Wilson and great-grandmother, Evelyn Wix.  He was a student at the Light House Christian School Academy.  He liked playing sports, but his passion was riding dirt bikes.

Besides his parents, he is also survived by; brothers, Lane and Dalton Wilson, grandmother, Paulette Blankenship all of the Wixtown Community, grandparents, Linda Moss of Celina, James and Karen Blankenship of Lafayette, great-grandparents, Doug Wix of Wixtown Community, Travis Blankenship of the Rocky Mound Community, and Bonnie Cates of Lafayette.

DALE KERNELL

Graveside Services for Dale Kernell, age 47 of Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Tuesday afternoon, October 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Whitley Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, TN with E. C. Meadows officiating. His family served as pallbearers.

Dale Kernell passed away Monday afternoon, October 29, 2007 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.

He was born July 14, 1960 in Jackson County, TN, the son of Evelyn Stafford Gravins of Red Boiling Springs, TN and the late A. C. Kernell. On April 1, 1989, he was married to the former Loretta Timmons, who survives. He was a disabled sawmill worker.

Survivors besides his wife and mother include: sons, Bobbie Dale Kernell and Ray Edward Kernell, both of Red Boiling Springs, TNh half-brothers, Timmy Kernell, Gainesboro, TN, Allen Kernell, Red Boiling Springs, TN.
