Randall Cothron, age 74, of Eulia Community, Macon County passed away on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at his residence.  

Funeral services for Randall Cothron were conducted on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Landy Presley and Brother Jerry Gammons officiating. Terry Driver, Gary Worrell, Ricky Vance, Chris Wix, Roger Long, “Hamhock” Cothron, Adam Vance, and Russ Snider served as Pallbearers.  Interment was in the Eulia Cemetery.

Randall Cothron was born on, March 14, 1933, to the late Charles Cothron and Stella (Parker) Cothron. He married the former Peggy Jenkins March 25th 1969, who survives. Besides his parents, infant son, Terry Wayne, brother, J.C. Cothron, sister, Mildred Grodzicki preceded him in death. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired factory worker for Eaton Corp. in Gallatin and of the Missionary Baptist Faith.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by, son, Michael and (Pam) Cothron of Lafayette; daughters, Marshelia and (Steve) Sempsrott of Coffeyville, KS, and Jill Vance of Oak Grove; step-son, Van and (Chaundel) Presley of Lafayette; step-daughter, Pam and (Freddie) Fuqua and step-son, Sandy and (Gayle) Presley all of Westmore-land; and sister, Alvida Oldham of Hartsville; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
