The bulldogs scored their first touchdown against Pickett co., in the first quarter with the extra point successful from Jake Stiles.
Pickett county broke through with a touchdown with 2:02 left in the first quarter with their extra point failing. RBS scored their second touchdown to lead Pickett co 14-6. At the half time buzzer, Pickett co pulled another touchdown out of their hat and the score was now 14-12. Several fumbles and penalties by the bulldogs allowed Pickett co to capitalize by scoring their final touchdown. Pickett county walked away winning the game 20-14. but the show is not over yet. “The Bulldogs played their hearts out declared Ronnie Mow as the game came to its end. One problem the Bulldogs need help fixing is that people stopped cheering them on when they fell behind “ Mow commented” It will help them to win if the bleachers are packed and the cheering never stops,” Mow added.
The Bulldogs will host Jackson County for their Homecoming game Friday, September 14.
