In the second quarter, Trousdale's Tacola Seay scored another touchdown, and Craig Brown added the two-point conversion. Macon's Lance Reid scored the first touchdown for the Tigers with an 11 yard pass from quarterback, Kyle Grace. This brought the score to 14-6 going in at half time.
After a two and a half hour game delay for lightening, Trousdale's Josh Cunningham scored another touchdown in the third quarter with the kick good bringing the score to 21-6.
In the fourth quarter, Macon's Chris Bohanon scored the second touchdown for the Tigers. They attempted a two-point conversion which failed. The final score of the game was 21-12, Jackets taking the victory.
The Tigers had 9 first downs. Chris Bohanon had 3 carries for 33 yards, Christian Crabtree had 2 carries for 20 yards, Kyle Grace had 14 carries for 40 yards, Cody Ray had 3 carries for 17 yards, Marcus Thompson had 4 carries for 6 yards, and Allen Whitaker had 1 carry for 6 yards, totaling 27 rushes for 110 yards. Kyle Grace had 11 completions for 111 yards.
The Tigers will play at home Friday against neighboring county rival, the Westmoreland Eagles. Kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m. Please come out and support your Macon County Tigers.
