DWAYNE COLLINS

Funeral services for Dwayne Collins, age 52 of the Highland Rd., Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Saturday afternoon, August 4, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. from the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Pastor Johnathan Martin officiating. Interment followed in the Kendall Cemetery. His family and friends served as pallbearers.

Dwayne Collins passed away suddenly, Thursday afternoon, August 2, 2007 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN.

He was born March 27, 1955 in Davidson County, the son of the late Omos and Betty Foster Collins. On July 3, 1987, he was married to the former Patty Collier, who survives. He was a member of the Unity Faith Fellowship Church of God in Hartsville, TN.

Survivors besides his wife, Patty, include: Sons, Jamie and Jared Collins both of Red Boiling Springs, TN., Greg Collins, Murfreesboro, TN., brothers & sisters-in-law, Larry & Clara Collins, Nashville, TN., Ricky & Donna Collins, Hendersonville, TN.

JAMES MANN EDWARDS

Funeral Services for James Mann Edwards, age 58 of Darden, TN were conducted Wednesday afternoon, August 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Parsons Mortuary in Parsons, TN with Brother Curtis Wilson officiating. Interment followed in the Bible Hill Cemetery.   

James Mann Edwards passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at The Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons, TN.

He was the son of the late Woodrow and Nella Sue Rains Edwards. He was married to Sarah Collier Edwards, who survives.

Survivors besides his wife, Sarah include: son, Jayson Edwards, Jackson, TN; daughters, Margo Singleton, Marion, AR., Amanda Mendeta, Lexington, Lanasu Withner, Chicago, IL; brother, David Edwards, IL; sisters, Linda (Prentice) Hudson, Susie Roth all of Lafayette, TN; 5 grandchildren.

CHARLIE NEAL HARRISON

Charlie Neal Harrison, age 64, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away July 31, 2007.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 3, 2 p.m. from New Hope Church with Bro. Johnny Carver officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.

He was the son of the late Henry and Annie Novella Escue Harrison. He was married to Frances Sue Harrison who also preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Oscar Harrison. Charlie Harrison was a Westmoreland Town Councilman and former Mayor of Westmoreland. He was retired from Fleetwood Homes.

Survivors include a son, Jonathon (Sandi) Harrison of Westmoreland; daughters, Martha (Andy) Alexander, Red Boiling Springs, Jenanne (Marty) Chandler of Henderson-ville, TN, Joy (Jerry) Dean of Portland, TN, Jackie (Mike) Easterly of Lebanon; sisters: Ester Gregory of Gallatin and Effie Edens of Hendersonville; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

AMANDA JOHNSON

Funeral services for Amanda Johnson, age 41, of 106 River Road, Celina, Tennessee, were held Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Yokley-Trible Funeral Home with Bro. L.B. White officiating. Burial was in Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.

Ms. Johnson passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Cumberland River Regional Hospital in Celina.

Born in Monroe County, KY on April 3, 1965, she was a daughter of George Harrison Miller of Medina, Ohio and Kathleen Copas Wilkerson of Lafayette, Tennessee. She was affiliated with Bellwood Church.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Jonathan Glenn Daniel of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Amber Rae Vaughn of Celina, TN; brothers, Byron Neal Miller of Bowling Green, KY and Georgie Thomas Miller of Medina, OH; step-sister, Ali A. Hegarty of Ohio; and special friend, Victor Phillips of Celina, TN.

Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
