Funeral Services for Billy Shrum were conducted on Tuesday, July 31st, at 12:00 noon from the First Presbyterian Church in Gallatin, with Rev. Michael Shealy officiating. Interment followed in the Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Billy Shrum was born in Macon County, TN to the late Audie and Oma Massey Shrum. He was an employee of Royal Crown Cola Company for 49 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gallatin, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Mabel Swindle Shrum of Gallatin, son: Danny(Rebecca) Shrum of Hendersonville, TN; step-son, Roger (Bernice) Flippen of Gallatin, TN, grandchildren, Kirk Shrum of Chattanooga, TN, Daniel Shrum of Atlanta, GA, Emily Shrum of Nashville, TN, Sandi (Matt) Kirkham of Gallatin, TN, and Amy Flippen of Gallatin, TN; great-grandchildren, Owen Kirkham, Chandler Flippen and D.J. Rogers; brother: Clifton Shrum of Lafayette; sisters: Hazel (Raymond) Tuck and Helen Gann all of Lafayette, TN.
