The heat of the late afternoon gave way to a comfortable night as the racing resumed at Macon County Speedway.

The winners of the heat races, were: #9 Cody Anderson in the Kid Karts, #1 Raymond Summers in the Stock Chevettes, #6 James Kinnard in the Front - Runners, #26 Justin Bandy in the Open Chevettes - Heat 1, #12 Zack Bandy in the Open Chevettes - Heat 2, and in the Feature Race - Stock Chevettes winner was #3 Larry Bandy.

In the kid tarts #9 Cody Anderson followed up his heat win with a feature win in the kids karts Due to Tyler Rheinbold's kart expiring mechanical problems.

In the Stock Chevettes race, #1 Ramond Summers took the lead in the first lap and lead the rest of the way.

The Front - Runner's race included four racing cars. In the beginning of the race, #61 Bobby Bowman and #6 James Kinnard collided. Bowman ‘s back bumper was attached on one side of his car while the other side drug the ground. The caution flag went up and race was put on hold. Eddie Anderson came onto the track to remove the bumper. As the race resumed, the line up was #61 Bowman on the pole, #6 Kinnard in second, and #4 Billy

Templeton in third place. Kinnard worked his way back into the lead position. By the third lap Kinnard had claimed his win.

In the open Heat Chevettes, #8 Larry Clark took the lead followed by #26 Justin Bandy, #3 Chuck Reecer, #33 Billy Knobblett and, #30 Dewayne Nobblett. In the third lap, #26 Justin Bandy was clipped in the rear by # 8 Larry Clark. Bandy bumped his way into lead position followed by # 33 Billy Knobblett in 2nd and #8 Larry Clark in the 3rd.

In the open Chevettes - Heat 2, #66 Duke Wright won pole position but, went

out of the race in lap 4 with a flat tire, leaving #12 Zack Bandy, #21 Johnny Warner, and #84 Kevin Preston with one lap to go. Preston used his pole position to finish the race in first place followed by #21 Johnny Warner.

In the stock Chevetts feature race,#3 Larry Bandy claimed 1st place, Raymond Summers came in second, Timmy Wheeley placed third and David Bandy fourth.
