HIGH BOND SET FOR RAPE SUSPECTS

Two Macon County men were arrested last week on charges of rape of a child under 13.

Daniel Glenn Carr, of Westmoreland was arrested Wednesday, June 6 and Vincent Parker Lee, of Lafayette, was arrested Thursday, June 7.

The alleged victims in each case were individuals known to the suspects; and the state Department of Childrens Services is providing counseling for the young people, according to Detective Danny Fisher of the Macon County Sheriff's Department.

Bond for Carr was set at $540,000 and bond for Lee was set at $150,000. Both suspects remain incarcerated at the Macon County Jail.

Vincent Parker Lee is scheduled to face charges in General Sessions Court June 13 and Daniel Glenn Carr's General Sessions Court date is scheduled for June 20.
