Graveside Services for Anthony Lee Newberry, age 42, of Whitley Hollow Rd., Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Clark Cemetery with Pastor Jackie Rich officiating. His pallbearers were Danny Knight, Gordon Newberry, Mark White, Channie Newberry, Jr., Greg Whitley, Marty Dennis, Chester Loudy and Kirk Newberry.

Anthony Newberry was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday evening, May 6, 2007 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN.

He was born October 6, 1964 in Lucas County, Ohio, the son of Channie Newberry, Sr. and his Companion, Christy of Red Boiling Springs, TN and the late Inez Whitley Newberry.  On December 8, 2000, he was married to the former Christy Knight, who survives. He was a block & brick mason.

Survivors besides his wife and father include: sister, Shena (Kevin) Wilder, Red Boiling Springs, TN; brother, Channie Newberry, Jr., Newport, NC; step-daughters, Brittany and Lauren Nelson all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; nieces, Keanna and Hannah Peek, Lillie Wilder; nephew, Sean Anthony Newberry.
