Donations needed for free car wash
Car wash will be held at Cumberland Bank on May 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is to help the Heavenly Hilltop Lounge go to Gospel Singing School.
Decoration at OakDale General Baptist Church
Decoration will be held Sunday, May 13. Worship service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with special singing by Freda Maynard. Lunch will immediately follow. Everyone is welcome.
Hillsdale Masonic Lodge #664 to hold Master Mason Degree meeting
Meeting will take place May 17th. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. with degree work to follow.
Homecoming celebration at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church
Celebration will be held Sunday, May 13. The church is located in Westmoreland on Pleasant Grove Road. Regular church services will be held at 11 a.m. Dinner and singing will be held on the grounds after church services. Everyone is invited to attend!
Bake sale at Wal-Mart
Homemade pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and other goodies will be for sale Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 until ? Proceeds benefit Xi Gamma Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi scholarship fund.
Dance to be held May 18
A dance will be held at the Sally Wells Building on Friday, May 18th from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Sons of the South is the band playing. Concessions will be available. Admission is $5.00 at the door.

Meeting will be held May 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the courtroom of the Courthouse in Lafayette, TN.

Strait Family Reunion will be held May 26 at Halifax Community Center in Allen Co. Potluck lunch at 10:00 a.m. Come and enjoy lunch with friends and family.

Bro. Jeff Spurgeon will preach at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church near Red Boiling Springs Sunday, May 13 at 11 o'clock.
Springtime's Blossom Babes pageant
Beauty pageant will be held Thursday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. with registration at 4:30 p.m. Pageant will take place at the Tompkinsville Elementary School's gymnasium. Proceeds to go towards helping local archery teams attend nationals. For more information, call 270-487-5323 or 270-427-7456.
