JAMES CAIN KING

James Harold Blankenship, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.  Funeral services for Mr. Blankenship were conducted Wednesday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Elder J. B. Shoulders officiating. Everette Wilburn, Delton Doss, George White, Jimmy Fishburn, Bobby Ballou, Randall Carr, Russell Driver served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

James Harold Blankenship was born on July 11, 1940, in Macon County, Tennessee, the son of the late Herman and Leona Driver Blankenship. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jamie Blankenship.   He was Missionary Baptist in belief and worked for the City of Lafayette.   

He is survived by, daughter, Kristie (Bobby) Elder, Old Hickory, brother, Roger Blankenship, cousin, Steve Moss, both of Lafayette, 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, and Nicholos Elder.

BILLY CAIN KING

Funeral Services for Billie Cain King, age 62, of the Carthage Rd., Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Friday afternoon, April 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with E. C. Meadows officiating. Her family and friends served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Billie Cain King passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 3, 2007 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born December 24, 1944 in Monroe County, KY, the daughter of the late Rueben and Mattie Anderson Cain. On December 17, 1978, she married Herman King, who survives. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Karen King and Loretta Overstreet, son, Martin Head and her sisters, Clarice Scott, Irene Turner and Ina Faye Hale. She was a homemaker.

Survivors besides her husband, Herman include: daughters, Wanda (Robert) Kinzer, Portland, TN, Susan King, Brush Creek, TN; sons, Herman (Angie) King, Jr., Lafayette, TN, Kevin (Joyce) King and Kelly King all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; sister, Geneva (Charles) Hagan, Tompkinsville, KY; brothers, Otis (Laverne) Cain, Red Boiling Springs, TN, Carl Cain of Big Rapids, MI., Boyd (Eva) Cain, Grand Rapids, MI, 16 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren.
