A hunter edu. course will be held at LES on Meador Drive, Lafayette on April 16, 17, 19, 20, from 6 to 9 nightly. A live fire exercise will be held April 21, time & location to be announced in class. Lafayette Spring Clean-Up/Fix Up Week
Mayor Wells has designated the week of April 9th thru 13th, 2007 as SPRING CLEAN-UP/FIX UP WEEK for the Lafayette City residents. For items not normally picked up by the Sanitation truck, you may call City Hall at 666-2194 for pick up during that week. The City will not pick up wire, tires, wood, limbs, rock, brick, construction materials, or any items still containing freon.
RBS Lions Club to hold bake sale
The Red Boiling Springs Lions Club will be having a bake sale on the sidewalk at Bill Martin's store on Saturday, April 7, 2007. Please come out and help support our efforts to supply eye exams and glasses. If you want to drop off items for the sale, please feel free to do so.
ATTENTION: MCHS Seniors going on Senior Trip
There will be a mandatory meeting for all seniors going on the Senior Trip and their parents on Wednesday, April 11th at 5:30 in the MCHS Cafeteria.
Rotary Pancake Breakfast April 13 & 14
The breakfast will be held Friday and Saturday, Apr. 13 & 14, at the Citizens Bank on Hwy. 52 in Lafayette. The price is the same as last year, $5.00 per meal. Serving begins at 6 a.m.
Mandatory MCJH Football meeting
There will be a mandatory team meeting on Thursday, April 5 at 6:00 p.m. in the MCJH auditorium. Everyone who plans to play football at MCJH during the upcoming season must attend and be accompanied by a parent/guardian. During this meeting, the coaching staff will introduce themselves, present and go over the team policy, provide calendars with events scheduled for the upcoming season, and answer any questions that you may have.
County Commissioners Meeting April 2nd
The Committee of a Whole of the County Commission of Macon County, Tennessee, will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2nd, 2007, at the Courthouse in Lafayette, Tennessee.
LBJ&C Offices closed Fri., April 6
Central office and Head Start Centers will be closed Friday, April 6, 2007 for Good Friday. LBJ&C Board of Director's meeting scheduled The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the LBJ&C Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville, Tennessee.
