MCHS Alumni Assoc. to meet Feb. 21

The Macon County High School Alumni Association will meet Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at MCHS for a planning for this year's Alumni Banquet. All alumni of MCHS are encouraged to attend and participate in this important meeting.

Public notice of Records Commission

Notice is hereby given that an open, public called Records Commission meeting will be held in the Macon County Archives, Room 104, Macon County Courthouse, commencing at hour of 4:45 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007. The public is always welcome and invited to attend the open meeting.

MCGH Diabetes Education Group to meet

County Commissioners meeting to be held

Pursuant to T.C.A. 5-5-113, the Committee of a Whole of the County Commission of Macon County, Tennessee, shall assemble itself at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5th, 2007, at the Courthouse in Lafayette, Tennessee.

Macon Co. Democratic Party to meet

The Macon County Democratic Party will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the Macon County Justice Center. Democrats are urged to attend to finalize plans for the upcoming fundraiser scheduled for April 7 and the special meeting for the election of Party officers on Saturday, March 31.

Quarterback Club Ham Breakfast March 10

The Lafayette Quarterback Club will be hosting its annual ham breakfast on Saturday March 10th from 6am till 11am at the Lafayette Elem cafeteria. The cost will be $5.00 a plate. The football players will be on hand to deliver within the city limits. Ween Radio will be there to kickoff the 2007 Macon County Tiger football season by giving away Tiger T-shirts. Come by for breakfast or to purchase your Macon County Tiger merchandise and help support Tiger Football.

Attention MCHS underclassman parents - Senior Trip Deposits

Mrs. Porter will be taking senior trip deposits for Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors from now until March 2. Have your son/daughter take their deposit (cash or checks made out to MCHS) to Mrs. Porter in room 205 before or after school, during break or Channel 1. After each deposit you will receive a receipt with their account balance.
