Sue Eller Shrum, age 69, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.

Funeral services for Sue Eller Shrum were conducted on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Harold Dean Linville and Elder Terry Austin officiating. Roy Towns, Steve Eller, Billy Huffines, Jerry Carver, Ralph Gregory, Scottie Wilburn, Jerry Claiborne, and Morris Cothron served as pallbearers.  Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.  

Sue Eller Shrum was born on November 21, 1937, in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Elmo Rex and Nela Tennie Cooke Eller. She was married to John Shrum on December 23, 1966, who survives. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church.  

Besides her husband of 40 years, she is survived by, sons, Jonathan (Jeannie) Shrum, Cookeville, TN, Spencer (Sonya) Shrum; brother, Jackie Eller; sister-in-laws, Betty McClard, Irene Shrum; brother-in-law, Leon Fuqua, all of Lafayette, TN;  nieces, Melissa Lyle, Lee Anne Rudd, both of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Reese, Brooke, Dalton, Hunter, and Austin Shrum.
