Library Board to meet February 14th

The Macon County Board of Library Trustees will meet Wednesday, February 14, at 1 p.m. at Macon County Public Library.

L.B.J.&C. Head Start & Central office closed Feb. 19th

The L.B.J.&C. Develop-ment Corporation Head Start Centers and the Central Office will be closed Feb. 19th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

County Gov. Offices closed Feb. 19th

Macon County Government offices in Macon County will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

Macon Co. Loss Control Comm. to meet Feb. 20th

The Macon County Loss Control Committee will meet on Feb. 20th, at 10 a.m. at the courthouse.

Macon County Planning Comm. to meet Feb. 20

The Macon County Plan-ning Commission will meet Tuesday, Feb. 20th, at 6 p.m. at the courthouse in Lafayette. The public is invited to attend.

Rook Tournament, Saturday, Feb. 17, MCHS Cafeteria

Libraries closed February 19

Macon County Public Library and Red Boiling Springs Branch Library will be closed on Monday, February 19, in observance of Presidents' Day.

MCHS Alumni Assoc. to meet Feb. 21

The Macon County High School Alumni Association will meet Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at MCHS for a planning for this year's Alumni Banquet. All alumni of MCHS are encouraged to attend and participate in this important meeting.

Lafayette City Hall closed Mon., Feb. 19th

The Lafayette City Hall will be closed Monday, Feb. 19th in observation of President's Day. Monday and Tuesday's garbage route will be picked up Tuesday the 20th. Please put trash out Monday night, truck will run early Tuesday morning.

Public notice of Records Commission

Notice is hereby given that an open, public called Records Commission meeting will be held in the Macon County Archives, Room 104, Macon County Courthouse, commencing at hour of 4:45 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007. The public is always welcome and invited to attend the open meeting.
