Plumie Alene Shrum Tuck, age 89 of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, evening, December 23, 2006 at Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Elder Terry Austin officiating. Randell Polston, Stanley Johnson, Kyle Polston, Jackie Eller, Harold Day and Larry Doss served as Active Pallbearers.  Interment followed in the Anderson and Son Memorial Park.    

Plumie Tuck was born Monday, August 20, 1917 in Macon County, TN the daughter of the late Carl Edgar and Minnie Maie Parker Shrum. On December 27, 1934 she married Cordis Wiley Tuck, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2000. Besides her husband and parents, sister, Hortez Shrum Massey preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.        She is survived by; daughters, Judy Tuck, Nancy Lynn (Randell) Polston; grandson, Kyle Andrew Polston, all of Lafayette, TN.
