Funeral Services for Ruby Hudson McCue, age 87, of Louisville, KY and formerly of the Willette Community in Macon County, TN were conducted Tuesday morning, December 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with E. C. Meadows officiating. Her family served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Draper Cemetery.

Ruby McCue passed away Friday evening, December 1, 2006 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born February 22, 1919 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of the late Bud and Vera Donoho Hudson. On March 28, 1937, she was married to Carlos A. "Buddy" McCue, who preceded her in death on September 27, 2001. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law; Ronald Boaz, sister & brother-in-law; Wilma & Kirk Russell, sister-in-law; Hilda Mai Hudson, brothers; Doyle, John, Roy, Billy Dowell, Robert and Lovell Hudson. She was a retired employee of G.E. in Louisville, KY.

Survivors include: daughters; Jean Thompson and Barbara Boaz, Louisville, KY; sons & daughters-in-law, Carlis & Susan McCue, Jr., Leesburg, VA, Billy & Jeannette McCue, Fairdale, KY; sister & brother-in-law; Anna & Alvin Burgess, Elizabethtown, KY; brothers & sisters-in-law, Curtis & Jean Hudson, Indianapolis, IN, Ralph & Glenna Hudson, Lafayette, TN; sisters-in-law, Nell Hudson and Jean Hudson, both of Indianapolis, IN, Vetrice Hudson, Greenwood, IN, Nola Mae Hudson, Lafayette, TN, Mary Hudson, Red Boiling Springs, TN; 14 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
