The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs ended their 2006 Football Season with a loss against Trousdale County of 59-0.

Jasper Turner, a senior, carried the ball eleven yards for his last play of the game.

Total rushing for the night was 21 attempts for 81 yards. The leading rusher was Mark Shirley with eight carries for 37 yards. Patrick Berry had 10 carries for 30 yards. Berry also had one catch for eleven yards. Jake Holt had one catch for 10 yards. The Dogs had a total of 37 passing yards.

The leading tackler for the night was Jotham Jones with seven tackles. Holt had five tackles and three assists.

“After a rainy start to the day, the night ended with a big moon in the sky and a great night for high school football,” said Coach Tony Boles. “Football is a twelve month sport now and the team is ready to begin working toward the 2007 football season. We cleaned out lockers this week and are already hitting the weights.”
