---parade rescheduled to start at 1 p.m.
The MCHS Tigers will face off against Station Camp this Friday night, with kick off at 7 p.m.
The parade will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. The parade will leave from Lafayette City Park and go right on Days Road. Then it will turn right onto Oak Street, left onto Hwy 52 Bypass, right at four-way stop, proceed around the square, turn onto Church Street, left onto Fairlane Drive, right onto College Street, right at four-way stop onto Hwy. 52 Bypass, right at next four-way stop onto Ellington Drive, right onto Bratton Ave., left at Sycamore Street, proceed by football field and Central Elementary, disband behind Piggly Wiggly.
School will be in session Friday, October 6, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., roll will be taken. Students participating in the ceremony will meet at the football field for practice, at 8 a.m.
Students will arrive at the park at 10 a.m., escorted by teachers and local police.
No student will be allowed to leave the park until the parade starts at 1:30. No one may enter the park for any reason to visit a student.
Each student who participates in the parade must wear an armband at all times for that day. These can be purchased, for $1, on Friday morning. Students must bring a signed permission form to receive an armband. Students without the signed form will not be allowed to participate in the parade.
If any spectator sees any vehicle or student violating these rules or guidelines, please note the parade pass number and report the incident to MCHS.

The crowning of the Homecoming Queen will be at 6 p.m. on Pat Parker Field.
Recognition of Alumni from the Football Season of 1981 and 1956 will be at half-time.
