Trevor Eastham, 18, of Lafayette, died Tuesday evening, September 26, when his 1999 Pontiac Grand Am ran off a Trousdale County road and struck a tree head on, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Estham's vehicle was traveling east on Stubblefield Rd., in Trousdale County, when it went off the south side of the roadway.

The accident was investigated by THP Trooper Tracy Donoho. THP reports that alcohol and drugs were not involved, but the use of a seat belt could have made a difference.
