Juanita Brawner, age 60, of Lafayette, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at her residence. Funeral Services for Juanita were conducted on Friday, September 15, 2006 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Brother Cary Kemp and Brother Jimmy Cox officiating. Greg Trent, Josh Warner, Randy Lamb, Ricky Gammons, T. J. Russell and Tommy Gammons served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Siloam Cemetery.

Juanita Brawner was born Tuesday, February 19, 1946 in Davidson County, TN, the daughter of the late Thomas Dallas and Vada Vassie Meador Johnson. Besides her parents, her daughter, Pamela Russell, brother, Garland Johnson, sisters Betty Grisham and Nancy Gammons preceded her in death. She was a member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by husband, Olie Brawner of Westmoreland, TN, sons, Arnett Wayne (Sabrina) Brawner, David Franklin (Violet) Brawner, all of Westmoreland, TN, daughters, Donna Sue (Steve) McElyea, Stephanie Ann (Gary) Warner, Daphne Alana Summers all of Lafayette, TN, brother, James Thomas Johnson of Centerville, TN, sisters, Ruby Hendricks and Judy Crutcher both of Franklin, TN, 17 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchildren.
