solves July burglary case
Ronald Dewayne Blair, 33, 203 Whitley Hollow Rd, RBS, was arrested August 24 by RBSPD Officer Stacy Woodard, and charged with burglary and theft of property over $500.
Blair's arrest came after a month long investigation, by the RBS Police Department, of a burglary at 207 Whitley Hollow Rd., reported by Jade Moss, on July 15.
Moss reported miscellaneous items taken from her residence, including two rings, an ID bracelet, candle sticks, and a hand painted picture, according to RBS Police Chief Terry Tuck.
“Blair became a suspect in the case when Assistant Police Chief Steve Evans received information that Blair had sold some of the items reported missing,” Chief Tuck said.
Ronald Blair was questioned by Assistant Chief Evans, and confessed to theft of the items, according to Chief Tuck.
“When he confessed, Blair told us where to find the items,” Chief Tuck added.
Items from the July 15 burglary were recovered from Blair's residence and elsewhere, according to RBSPD reports.
Ronald Blair faces a September 20 General Sessions Court date, and his bond was set at $3,000.
