Bernest Clinton Hackett, age 69, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Carthage Hospital in Smith County, TN. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Rev. Tom Compton and Edward Anderson officiating. Family and friends served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery.

Bernest Clinton Hackett was born April 24, 1937 in Macon County, the son of the late Ervie and Zula (Etheridge) Hackett. Besides his parents, a sister, Lucille Vinson and a brother Ernest Hackett preceded in him death. He was a retired sawmill worker. 

He is survived locally by Tony & Mary Jo Hackett of Carthage, TN. Also surviving is his wife, Jerry Krantz Hackett of RBS; children: Sharon and Jimmy Halliburton of RBS, Ricky and Linda Hackett of Hartsville, TN, Johnny Hackett of RBS, and Lavonda & Lonnie Hix of Goosehorn Community.
