HARPER PLEADS GUILTY IN CONNECTION WITH KUHN'S DEATH Daniel Harper, 24, who was charged with criminal negligence homicide in connection with the alcohol poisoning death of 17 year old Paul Kuhn on April 16 of this year, pled guilty in criminal court last week to criminal negligence homicide. Harper, of 642 Wildcat Lane, Lafayette, had allegedly purchased alcohol for the 17 year old Kuhn, who was found to be unresponsive by Macon County EMS after a call to Cherry's Mobile Home Park. Kuhn, a student at Macon County High School, was LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, where he was pronounced dead.
Harper was sentenced to one year, suspended, for the charge, with credit for jail time from 4-15-06 to 6-12-06.
Harper also pled guilty to vandalism over $1,000; two years suspended; restitution $500; jail credit 10-31-05 to 2-8-06.
