New Lafayette Council Members

Two new and one incumbent Lafayette City Council members were voted in yesterday, May 2.

Incumbent Ruby Flowers kept her position on the council with 358 - or 18%- of 1,991 total votes.

Jerry Wilmore took a new seat with 409 - or 21% - of total votes.

Ronnie Krantz, with 360 - or 18% - of the total votes also won a new seat on the council.

Newly elected council members will be sworn in on May 25, and take their seats at the regular city council meeting on June 6.
