Tri-County Electric Membership Cooperative

Election for District L Director, Lafayette

Date: April 10, 2006

Where: Tri-County Building, 405 College St., Lafayette, TN

Vote for Ron Morey

I live at 601 Courthouse View, Lafayette, TN. My wife is... Lauretta Gregory Morey. I retired January 2004 as territory manager for Stoko Skin Care. My territory was Kentucky and Jackson, TN east. I worked with distributors and called on industrial plants large and small. TVA evaluated our skin care products and I installed 3000 dispensers over all their system; Hydro, Fossil & Nuclear. I learned the ability to analyze and propose solutions that meet specific needs. Listening is very important. I will be looking after your interest in maintaining reasonably priced electricity.

Ron Morey, profile.

I was in the United States Air Force for 4 years, spending 1 year in Korea from 6/2001 to 6/2002. My first job after service was with Meadow Gold Dairy delivering to homes. This was a great learning experience in keeping the customer happy and managing a small business. I worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as an agent working with families to provide security for the future.

I moved from Macon County, Illinois to Macon County, Tennessee in 1974. I worked at Carter Automotive for 10 years, Lebanon Chemical, selling janitorial supplies, for 10 years. The opportunity came available with Stoko Skin Care as a Territory Representative for Kentucky and Tennessee. Based on my enthusiasm for the Stoko Skin Care products and ability to increase volume of sales, I was offered this position. I worked with minimum supervision and planned my activities to meet goals.

I have had an interest in this community a long time. I am a past member of the Lions Club. I go to the Lafayette United Methodist Church and have gone to Sunday School all my life. Singing in the choir has been satisfying. Every Saturday morning, a group sings at Knollwood & the White House. I also appreciate the singing conventions conducted by local churches.
