Mayor Wells has designated the week of April 10th thru 14th, 2006 as Spring CLEAN-UP/FIX-UP WEEK for the Lafayette city residents. For items not normally picked up by the Sanitation truck, you may call City Hall at 666-2194 for pick up during that week. The City will not pick up wire, tires, wood, limbs, rock, brick, no construction materials or any item still containing freon.
Democratic Meeting April 6
The Macon County Democratic Party will meet Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at the Justice Center. A special called meeting will be held at 5 p.m. for discussion of by-laws.
Quarterback Club to meet April 6
The MCHS Quarterback Club will meet Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at the old field house on Meador Drive. Everyone is urged to attend.
Lafayette Ball Park to have clean-up day
Lafayette Little League, Minor League, and Tee-Ball will have clean up day April 8, at 1 p.m. Any and all help will be appreciated.
