Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, 1 p.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Burnice Wesbrooks officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park with full military honors.
He was the son of the late Henry Marvin and Dora Belle Bandy Phillips. He was married to Elizabeth Phillips of Westmoreland who survives. He was a Vietnam War veteran, member of Nashville Road Church of christ and retired from ITW CIP Corp.
Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Julia K. Lamb of Waynesville, Ohio; brothers, Earnest Phillips of Gallatin and Russell Phillips of Hartsville; sisters, Viola McGee of Texas, Shirley Brown of Bethage; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, William, George, Elmo, Johnny, Marvin, Austin and Junior Phillips ; half-brother, James Robert Agee, Sr.; sisters, Mary Ester Shanklen, Ruby Wolfe and Ester Lewis.
