Jr. Bulldogs Fall to Yellow Jackets

The Red Boiling Springs Junior High Bulldogs traveled to Trousdale County on November 17th for a match up with the Yellow Jackets. TrousdaleCounty is traditionally known as a football town, but their basketball team has enjoyed more success than theirgrid iron counterparts the past few years. The Junior Jackets looked to be strong again this year as they entered their game against the Bulldogs undefeated and remained that way as theydefeated RBS by a final score of 36-31. Shelton Watson scored a team high 12 points for RBS. Also getting in on the scoring was Wes Grace with 7, John Smith with 4, Jordan Grace with 3, Andrew Mullinex with 3, and Lance Grooms with 2. Watson had a double-double in the game as he also pulled down a team high 11 rebounds. Mullinex led the team in assists with 3, while Jordan Grace led the team in steals with 3. The Bulldogs will be in action again on November 28th as they travel to Lafayette for a match up against the Tigers.
