Funeral services for Carl Reese Dyer, age 75, of Nashville, formerly of Macon Co. were conducted Monday, September 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Woodbine Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Interment followed in McDonald Cemetery, Lafayette, TN.

Carl Dyer passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosie Dyer, and his step-daughter, Dimple Smith.

Survivors include daughters: Kay Jones and Teresa Corbin; step-daughters: Pat (Jr.) Robertson and Shirley (Jerry) Yancey; sons: Thomas (Deb) Dyer and Bobby Dyer; sister: Barbara Jean Woodard; brothers: Bill, Hubert, C.B. and Jim Buck Dyer; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
