On Monday, September 26, Macon County Sheriff's Department received a burglary alarm call from Dixon's Market at 7844 Rocky Mound Road.

Deputy Larry West responded. While enroute to the address, the dispatcher advised the deputy to make contact with the owner of the store, Randall Dixon. The owner advised Deputy West that the market had been broken into and he showed a security tape. The tape showed a male subject entering the store and going to the beer cooler taking three 12 packs of Bud Light.

Entry was gained into the market by the subject kicking the front door. After leaving the beer cooler, the subject exited the market and returned to his vehicle. He left the market traveling back toward Kentucky on the Rocky Mound Road.

Detective Mark Gammons is continuing to investigate the burglary.
