Funeral services were held Sunday, August 7, 2005, 2:30 p.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Freeman and Bro. James Sadler officiating. Burial was in Allen County Memorial Gardens in Scottsville, KY. Pallbearers were George Wilson, Holly Holland, Oscar Thompson, Malcom Thompson, Ed Hisenberg, Jr., Steve Garrison.
He was the son of the late Napolian Sampson and Maude Lewis Lee. He was married to Marquerite Massey Lee, who also preceded him in death.
Survivors include daughters, Harriett Lee Sanders, Nashville, Peggy Joyce Slayton, Westmore-land, Linda Sue Burgett of Gallatin; sister, Mary Mosley, Franklin, KY; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death also by a brother, Oscar Lee.
Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland was in charge of arrangements.
