Metro Police have called her former boyfriend, Trusty, a person of interest in the case. A judge found Trusty guilty of violating an order of protection involving his former wife and two children.
As we reported last week, Trusty had a past history of domestic abuse. In the past week, authorities have searched his property and the Cumberland River next to his property in Smith County. Hunt was last seen at a McDonalds drive through in Nashville June 23.
South Precinct detectives are asking for the people of Lafayette to assist in locating Hunt.
Detective Brad Corcoran, South Precinct Investigation Unit, believes that physical evidence found in Lafayette places Hunt's vehicle, a 1999 white Pontiac Sunfire, in the area on or around June 23. They do not know whether the car was driven to Lafayette or brought here on a trailer. The vehicle is believed to have been on Highway 10 South or the Scottsville Road. It is believed that the car was left in a storage building on the Scottsville Road for a period of time and then moved.
If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Hunt please call 615-862-7680.
