On Monday, June 6, Lafayette Police Officer Tammy Wright was dispatched to Tennplasco to take a report of a break-in. Upon arrival, Officer Wright reported that the building had been broken into and the vending machines damaged. Money was stolen from the vending machines. Detective Stacey Gann arrived on the scene and is currently investigating. The damage to the machine is estimated at $4000. The amount of money stolen is unknown at this time.

On Monday, June 13, Officer Keith Tillman was dispatched to the USD2 office located in the industrial park. Officer Tillman spoke with management. The manager reported that the building had been broken into. The offices were ramshacked and money was taken from the coke machine.

Lt. Bryon Satterfield was called to the scene to process the break-in. The officers canvassed the area and spoke with the manager at the factory next to the USD2 building. They were later called back to the factory when the manager stated that their building had also been entered illegally. Reportedly, an alarm had sounded and possibly scared the burglars away.

This case is still under investigation by the Lafayette Police Department.
