On March 17, at 2:21 p.m. Lafayette Police Officer Kevin Woodard was dispatched to the softball field at Macon County High School to take a report of a breaking and entering.

According to his report, upon arrival he spoke with Sharon Crawford who stated that person or persons had broken into the stand and had taken several items. Those items were miscellaneous concession items valued at $155.00.

Officer Woodard stated that he could find no visible signs of forced entry. He did report that he found several items that were allegedly on the counter turned over on the floor as if someone had come through the window.

Crawford reported that she thought the windows were locked when they left the building for the last time on Tuesday night. She also stated that several people had keys to the building.

This case is currently under investigation by the Lafayette Police Department.
