Lura Belle Krantz, 79, of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Tuesday, January 12, 1926 a daughter of the late Obie Robert Dallas and Minnie Cook Dallas. She was a retired employee in the housekeeping department for Macon County General Hospital, a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and wife of the late Randall Krantz.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Krantz, of Lafayette, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rhonda Krantz, 3 brothers, Lewis Dallas, Robert Dallas, and Jesse Dallas, and 4 sisters, Ruth Green, Ida Cothron, Amy Bransford, and Edna Gammons.

Funeral services for Lura Belle Krantz were conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. Guthrie Thompson officiating. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Jerry Dallas, Bobby Dallas, Jimmy Dallas, Bobby Sewell, Terry Polston, and Ellis Crawford.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN was in charge of arrangements.
