Macon man arrested in Trousdale for possession of meth

Brian Keith Carr, age 36, of Storytown Road, was arrested in Trousdale County on January 14 for possession of meth for resale and drug paraphernalia.

According to Trousdale County Chief Deputy Waylan Cothron, the Trousdale County Sheriff's Department received a call that a motorist was requesting assistance at Foodland in Hartsville. Upon arrival DTF Director Mike Thompson and Chief Deputy Cothron spoke with Clinton Wix of Marlin Road, Westmoreland, Brandi Miller of the same address, and Scotty Mungle of Cedar Bluff Road in Lafayette.

Allegedly, the three individuals were acting suspiciously and were attempting to obtain entrance to Brian Carr's vehicle.

Due to their suspicious behavior, authorities began an investigation. A search of their person revealed drug paraphernalia. Miller was charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II for resale and possession of meth. Mungle was charged with drug paraphernalia. Wix was charged with filing a false report.

A search was then conducted of Carr's vehicle. Found in his vehicle was drug paraphernalia and meth for resale. Carr was charged by Trousdale County with possession of meth for resale and drug paraphernalia.

A search warrant was then obtained for Carr's home located at 8992 Storytown Road. The information from this search has not been released. Charges are stemming from the executed search warrant. The information will be presented to the grand jury by DTF, according to Director Thompson.
