Funeral services for Clayton C. "Pete" Brandon, age 84, of 2614 Scottsville Road, Lafayette, TN, were conducted Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren; active pallbearers were Elder J.E. Shoulders, Elder Terry Austin, Elder Ricky Holland, Elder Doug Curtis, Elder Lonnie Meador and Jeff Ashworth. Interment was in Enon Cemetery.

Pete Brandon passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004 at Westmoreland Care & Rehab Center in Westmoreland, TN.

A native of Macon County, TN, he was the son of the late Virgil and Texie Hix Brandon. On May 24, 1941, he was married to the former Virginia Lou Archer, who preceded him in death on January 31, 2003. He was a farmer and member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Frances (Larry) Goad, Lafayette; son, Gordon (Jean) Brandon, Haywood, KY; sister, Wanda Stinson, Lafayette; brother, Willie B. (Mylinda) Brandon, Lafayette; three grandchildrenand two great-grandchildren.
